Your choice
Historic Prism distinguishes technologies that are strictly necessary for the service requested by the user from optional uses, including audience statistics.
Essential session cookie
When you sign in, Historic Prism uses the first-party cookie floot_built_app_session. It is used only to maintain your authenticated session and secure access to your account.
- Type: necessary technical cookie.
- Protection: HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax.
- Current maximum duration: seven days.
- Consent: not required for this cookie because it is strictly necessary for the service requested.
Remembering your preferences
Your privacy choice is stored locally in the browser under the key per_privacy_preferences_v1. This prevents Historic Prism from asking the same question on every page and contains neither your name nor your email address.
The choice expires after approximately six months, after which Historic Prism may ask you to set your preferences again.
Optional statistics
If you accept the “Statistics” category, Historic Prism may record page views, committed search terms and zero-result searches, coarse technical information (approximate country, browser family, device type and web/PWA mode), successful contact-form events without the message content, and limited diagnostics for unhandled browser errors. Error diagnostics contain no stack trace and are scrubbed of email addresses and URLs.
This system is internal to Historic Prism, places no advertising cookie, stores no IP address or raw user-agent with these events and does not associate them with your account identifier. If you refuse, no new optional audience-measurement event is sent from your browser.
External services
When a user leaves Historic Prism for an external service — for example a Stripe payment page — that service may apply its own cookie policy on its domain. Those cookies are not controlled by Historic Prism.
Links to archives or third-party websites may similarly lead to environments that use their own trackers.
No behavioural advertising
Historic Prism currently uses no advertising pixel, retargeting cookie or third-party advertising profiling on the site. If this policy changed, the relevant trackers would not be activated before consent where consent is legally required.
